I had never considered Utah to be high on my destination list, but as a result of my interest in rock climbing, I’ve now explored a lot of the state. In this painting, I was driving towards warmer temperatures in Nevada. On long drives like this out west, I am always captivated by the uninterrupted horizon line and the sky.
